RG146, Diploma of Financial Services
I never knew how easy it was to become a financial planner. Or should I say at least be able to become a financial planner. I changed my job from a shop attendant to Para planner. That was a good two years ago. Why I decided to change my career was because of my auntie. My auntie is one of the smartest person in the whole wide world. Why I say that is because she advised me that being in the financial services industry is one of the better options in career planning. And after two years, I think she was right. I am now earning more than what I was before and as I look at my peers, I see a further career path which can make me more money, and that is being a financial planner.
Now it’s not all as simple as that. I had to take a course known as the diploma of financial services and I got me my RG146 compliance. I needed the RG 146 compliance certification as this is required by the ASIC Australian securities and investment commission. Without this I am unable to give financial advice be it general or personal to anyone.
