A Look into Drama Quizes
A drama quiz has already turned into a separate type of a personality quizzes. A drama quiz refers to a personality quiz based on a (popular) TV show.
The popularity of drama quizzes is easy to explain: First of all, they are more associative. A quiz usually refers to some rather abstract notions (How clever are you? How vulnerable are you? How good are you at…?). Abstract things are hard to imagine and thus don’t catch attention.
It is much easier (and much more fun too!) to understand the quiz if either its questions or results are based on some popular TV show character you see daily and seem to know “better than yourself”.
Another reason that might explain the drama quiz growing popularity is that the TV show fans are willing to consume any information related to any of their favorite characters. They buy magazines featuring the interview with the actor, frequent their fan sites and … take drama quizzes to define how much they have in common with their beloved non-existent person.
